Dinky Toys 39F Studebaker State Commander
Studebaker State Commander by Dinky Toys, No. 39F. Extremely scarce PRE-WAR example in bright yellow. Near mint/never individually boxed. From The esteemed Spa-Francorchamps Collection. Starting bid £450. Please note that QDT apply 12.5% buyer's commission.
Notes
A rare pre-war version of the Studebaker State Commander finished in canary yellow, with smooth black wheels (couple of small fragments missing on one, light crazing besides) and a lacquered baseplate, thin axles. Well-shaped smooth black tyres.
Gleaming bright original paint finish has the occasional small chip.
Nonetheless, one of the best surviving examples – we have not seen better!
