Notes
Surely the finest example of this extremely rare version!
The Breakdown Truck came in several different colours/combinations, but in our opinion this is the rarest with a red cab and chassis, light grey back with blue “DINKY SERVICE” lettering, window glazing, and red plastic hubs.
Virtually mint condition too!
Colour of truck is vibrant throughout. Sleek matte baseplate. As-new original black knobbly tyres. Plastic winding handle cuff. Complete ‘Dinky Service’ lettering in deep blue on both sides.
The bright and clean correct later yellow box presents well. No tears or repairs and the colours are vivid.
Bright staples. A little shelf rubbing on the box base underside.
