Notes
Rare to come to the marketplace, this version of the Leyland Octopus Tanker in* blue and yellow* is the seldom seen last issue with red plastic wheels and paper labels at the sides.
The finish is vibrant with no trace of sunfading. The tinplate tanker is undented, ladder and manhole covers are intact. The original paper labels at the sides (usual version has transfers) are bright and complete. Little edge wear/minor staining in places as you might expect. Rear transfer has a pinprick dot of loss. Red plastic wheels are intact and the tyres are fine. Baseplate and metal parts generally are shiny.
In very close to mint condition.
The striped Supertoys box impressive with strong, fresh colours on clean, carefully handled card.
An exceptionally scarce Dinky commercial.
