Notes

Sought after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.

A fine group of Indian Nicky Dinky Toys as follows:

1) Nicky Dinky Toys, No. 239 Vanwall Racing Car in saffron yellow, with one-piece wheels/tyres with dimpled details on the wheels, with driver. Very near mint. Pictorial box has a little of the usual age/handling wear and a puncture to the underside (pressed back into place).

2) Nicky Dinky toys No. 239 Vanwall Racing Car in metallic gold, one piece wheels/tyres. Intact racing number labels. Mint/boxed. Decent picture box has some of the usual wear.

3) As above, but metallic red version, with separate wheels/tyres. Near mint plus/boxed. Decent picture box has some of the usual wear.

4) Nicky Dinky Toys, No. 144 VW 1500, in pale pink, with separate wheels/tyres. Near mint plus. A little age/handling wear to the picture box.
