Re-numbered from 39B in 1960, this fine French Dinky model has a sand beige tractor and trailer, matching metal wheels (convex wheels to cab, concave to trailer) and a white roof rack. Three metal pins on the trailer are still in place (originally 4). Complete load of six plastic pipes. Two spare wheels, window glazing. Early issue with pierced trailer detail (later issue was solid).
Very near mint.
The attractive pictorial striped ‘Supertoys’ box is bright, fresh, complete and intact, with very light wear only. Dinky Quality Control Stamp ‘Meccano Controle’ on the inside of the box lid.
