Corgi Toys 340 Monte Carlo Sunbeam Imp
Sunbeam Imp 'Monte Carlo' by Corgi Toys, No. 340. Spun wheels. 1st issue, so correct in over-flashed 328 box. With suspension. Near mint plus/boxed.
Notes
An exciting addition to your Corgi collection, this Sunbeam Imp model is in all original condition in vibrant metallic mid-blue with intact ‘77’ racing number on one door, a nick to the other. Spun wheels. Complete with six jewelled lights and detailed 1967 Monte Carlo label at the front and rear (couple of nicks to the front label). Notably, this model has suspension on all four wheels.
Intact rear opening hatch and correct detailed front and side screens.
Paint finish is close to mint. Little lower edge nibbles to door transfers. Factory assembly wear to one wheel.
The over-flashed 328 Hillman Imp box (1st issue) is complete and bright with a complete over-flash label with blue print.
One end of the box has never been opened so preserving the overflash label (quite often the flash label is slit to open the end of the box it covers – but not in this case). Usual age transparency to the over-flash label. Hardly any wear besides.
