This Dinky collector had the opportunity to purchase a group of colour ttial models and unfinished items upon the closure of the Meccano Factory in 1980.
This is one of these models.
Never issued in metallic green with a black interior. An unfinished model – it is clear to see that a convertible version was being considered. However, this particular version never made it beyond the colour trial stage.
One-piece wheels/tyres and a screwed base. Few marks to the paint finish.
