Nicky Dinky Toys 194 Bentley S Coupe
Bentley S Coupe by Nicky-Dinky Toys, No. 194. Scarce SAFFRON YELLOW version, DEEP RED tonneau, one-piece wheels/tyres. Near mint plus/boxed. Nice box! From A Phenomenal Collection. Starting bid £200. Please note that QDT apply 12.5% buyer's commission.
Notes
Sought after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
A close to mint example finished in an eye-catching vivid yellow shade with deep red interior, black tonneau, original silver details, black steering wheel, and complete screen (tiny marking). One-piece wheels/tyres.
Couple of stray factory dabs of black paint and a stray smudge of factory silver.
No mention of DINKY on the base but product number and name embossed.
The colourful correct box (ATAMCO P LTD. Calcutta) is fresh, bright complete and clean. Light wear – but still a very good example of a Nicky Toys box.
