Notes
1st type issue, made between 1948-52. Two-tone blue paint finish with a light blue flash and fine tread radial tyres. Nice to see that the tinplate tank is not dented or rusty.
A few little chips to some wheel arches and a couple of small scuffs to tank. Extra sweep of well-matched paint on one side of the roof.
This tanker comes complete with its excellent early buff box with a paper label. Sound with no splits and untarnished staples. Paper label has vivid colours and a neatly penned shopkeeper’s price of just 10/10.
