Notes
The popular Riviera Gift Set was made between 1965-68, and this 1st issue comprises:
i) Corgi 245 Buick Riviera in light blue (correct for 1st issue) with a bright red detailed interior. Suspension on spoked wheels. Intact (early version) tow hook. Pleasing sheen to the original paint finish. Very near mint paint finish. Corgi period accessory labels have been added (as Corgi intended). Small as-made paint ‘bubble’ on the roof. Couple of minor marks to the paint.
ii) Trailer is in very close to mint condition. All original paint finish. Few small marks.
iii) Corgi 104 Dolphin Cabin Cruiser is in fresh, bright and clean condition, with a complete label (without the usual age transparency thankfully). Includes original Captain figure, intact outboard motor and propellor.
This tows the original skier on the original plastic water scene attachment.
Complete and looking like new.
Colourful card stand is clean and brightly-coloured. Complete. Light wear.
Both pull-out tabs are present and tear-free. Original sellotape still in situ and original sellotape residue.
The outer box with its wonderfully atmospheric artwork is deeply-coloured and complete.
Light wear includes a very small tear.
