Notes
This collector makes an important contribution to the cataloguing and chronology of Dinky models. So far, we have only handled the proverbial tip of the iceberg.
Second type cab issue of this Dinky Tailboard Foden Truck made between 1952-56. This gleaming bright Dinky toy Foden model is in very close to mint condition. Violet blue cab and chassis and a vivid orange back, paler blue grooved hubs. Well-shaped, original black radial tyres. 20 mph label still in place. Bolt fixing.
One of the much-loved Dinky toys from this era and a rare find in this very close to mint condition.
Gleaming, with barely a mark.
The striped DINKY SUPERTOYS box is complete and brightly-coloured. Dulled staples. Light wear and a small surface paper repair on a short lid end. Shelf scuff on the base. Nice to see the card packing piece present too.
