Notes
Always an exciting and sought-after model, this particular version of the Batmobile is finished in an attractive high-gloss black paint with bright ‘Bat’ logos on both sides, bright gold slasher blade, ‘rounded’ rear fins, cast gold tow hook, slim 12-spoke Whizzwheels, blemish-free pale blue-tinted screens. Both figures of Batman and Robin, and a fixed flame. Suspension on all four wheels. Fine straight aerial, unrubbed chrome, bright gold details – a fantastic, iconic display piece.
Sprue of yellow missiles (with 11 attached, one has gone astray at some time).
Barely a mark to the paint finish.
Colourful card and cellophane box is complete, clean and brightly-coloured. Correct that this issue has a circular Batman detail bottom right. Intact original cellophane is smooth. Note the Swedish print on the top surface and the date 1979 on the base. French print too and features diagram.
