Highlighting three versions of the Mechanical Horse & Open Wagon, this Dinky Trade Box comprises:
1) All grey version with black ridged wheels. Silver trim. Well-shaped ballon tyres. 20 mph transfer intact. Very near mint.
2) Bright green cab with vivid red back. Black ridged wheels. Silver trim. Well-shaped balloon tyres. Scarce version. Near mint. 20 mph transfer intact. Few later retouches on the cab.
3) All deep green version with silver trim. Few little retouches. Near mint plus. Black ridged wheels. Balloon tyres (occasional light flat spot).
The buff Dinky Trade Box presents very well indeed and has a complete and bright paper label at a short lid end. Shopkeeper’s pencilled price on the lid and base. Little edge crumple to the base side. Nice to see the original dividers inside too!
The Mechanical Horse & Open Wagon was re-numbered to 415 in 1954 and given an individual box.
