Dinky Toys 283 BOAC Coach
B.O.A.C. Coach by Dinky Toys, No. 283. Very near mint/boxed. From The Ian Hewlett Collection.
Notes
First issued during 1956, this coach has a deepest blue paint finish with a crisp white roof. ‘BRITISH OVERSEAS AIRWAYS CORPORATION’ lettering is virtually perfect on both sides. The BOAC lettering in yellow as well as the distinctive gold Speedbird emblem is complete and intact. Shiny base, blue cast wheels and the smooth original tyres are well-shaped.
Barely a mark to the paint finish.
The picture box is very bright, fresh and complete. Crisp feel. Light crumple.
