Notes
A fine gleaming example of this nicely finished Citroen Breakdown vehicle, made between 1956-59 under this re-numbering. Such a lustrous finish throughout, with complete ‘DINKY SERVICE’ lettering on both sides, a very bright winding handle, and baseplate. Hard to imagine better! This truck has rarely seen the light of day.

One little casting mark on the bonnet (very minor)and a dot of factory silver at the rear. Being extra fussy here – this truck is just about as fine as you could wish!
The pictorial box is very clean, fresh and bright. Complete with all end flaps intact. Barely any wear at all. Indeed, this box looks virtually shop-fresh. There is a delightful inscription in French written by the person who gave this as a present in 1967. It reads (translated):
“With all your cars, you have to have this Breakdown Truck”

We cannot agree more – this is a first-rate example and a fitting addition to any Dinky collection!
