Corgi Toys 270 James Bond Aston Martin
James Bond Aston Martin by Corgi Toys, No. 270. Mint/boxed. With accessories. Rarest box issue. Version WITHOUT 270 printed on box face.
Notes
The hardest to find box version of this popular James Bond Aston Martin. Issued during 1973 only in this slim blue and yellow window box. Note this is the version without 270 printed on the front surface.
This James Bond DB5 has a silky metallic silver finish, fully-functioning. Ejector seat mechanism and the roof panel closes flush, revolving number plates, retractable machine guns, tyre slasher blades, telescopic over-riders – this car is literally loaded with features!
The silver paint finish is all original and in mint condition. Note the gold radiator. Rear bullet screen in deep graphite grey as are both levers at the side. Detailed spoked wheels with slasher blades. Suspension is fine on all wheels.
The ejector seat mechanism operates well.
Couple of tiny chrome rubs due to box contact if we are being extra-critical.
No Secret Instruction Packet now but the original accessories i.e. Secret Instruction Leaflet, 007 Badge, spare villain are still present. Also present is the slip containing two of the adhesive number-plates.
The scarce blue and yellow window box without 270 printed on the front surface is complete and brightly-coloured. Intact original cellophane window. Presents very well indeed.
