An early example – made during one year only – 1948! A scarce Bedford truck with a bright paint finish in the early correct buff box.
This Bedford Articulated Lorry presents very well indeed. Red with black wings and wheels arches, red platform and coupling for the spare wheel. Earliest style fuel tank with no ‘over hang’ from the platform above. Black wheels and smooth black well-shaped tyres, with the exception of the trailer wheels which are radial. No window glazing on these early issues. 20mph sign is in place at the rear. Original tyres run well.
A beauty on display.
Hard to find the merest mark to the lustrous paint finish. Painstaking scrutiny finds the occasional retouch.
The buff card box is one of the best you will ever find. Presents well with bright, strong colours on super-fresh card.
