Issued towards the end of the production run in this eye-catching bright metallic blue finish with a black roof, black rollers and base. An obviously unused example in very close to mint condition, complete and authentic throughout. Complete ‘SHADO 2’ labels on both sides. Bright silver firing mechanism. Inspired by the Gerry Anderson UFO t.v. series, this model has a flip over roof mechanism which reveals a formidable rocket just waiting to be fired! Complete with spare missile, too.
Occasional negligible mark.
Bright two-piece polystyrene packing has tiny marking due to contact with the model.
The window box with header card is complete and bright, with an unpunched header card. Storage ruffling in one small area next to the intact original cellophane. Unpunched header card. Small area of surface loss on an end flap due to a price label being removed at some time. Note one large end flap has two period printed labels in French.
