Dinky Toys 301 Field-Marshall Tractor

Notes
This is a beautiful Dinky model, typically well constructed with simple lines. Issued between 1954-61, this is an early issue with a burnt orange finish, including the exhaust stack, silver metal wheels, tan driver, black steering wheel. Tow hook. So obviously unused, this model has just one small graze at a wheel arch (may be a factory oversight). Bright baseplate. Details on the tractor are picked out in silver (all original).
A fine model on display. Barely a mark to the paint finish.
The card box is a scarce issue bearing both 301 and 27N at the ends. It is bright and clean with light wear only. Crisp feel. Shopkeeper’s price of 4/6 is pencilled on one end.
