Notes
Always a sought-after Corgi toy, this James Bond Aston Martin is a first issue casting (production run 1965-69). Note the indicator light casting and double side vent present on this early issue.
With just one owner from new – this model has remained in its box for the majority of the past 55 or so years.

This exciting and iconic car is in all original condition with none of the reproduction accessories, rife with this issue.
The car is fully functioning, complete with both figures. This James Bond Aston Martin has a very close to mint, all original, rich glossy gold finish. Minor marking roof centre.
Suspension on the rear wheels only. The car still ‘sits’ well but there is no suspension on the front wheels. Fine tread original tyres are well-shaped.
The 2nd issue card plinth (i.e. with arrow on the red section where the model is placed) is complete, very crisp and brightly-coloured. Barely handled and the colours are day-one vibrant. Such a crisp feel too. Faint part-tear emanating from a wheel slot.
Reverse view:
The Instruction Packet has never been been opened (not opened and then re-stuck at some time) and inside you will surely find the badge, Instruction Leaflet and spare villain.
The 2nd issue outer box is complete and brightly-coloured, showing light age/handling wear only at end flaps. Note that since it is 2nd issue, there is shading detail around the lettering ASTON MARTIN DB5 on the box face and a thick black border around the JAMES BOND’S lettering, too.
Model Car Makers to James Bond Booklet included.
