Notes
Issued between 1957-58, the golden age of Dinky!
This is one of the most eye-catching Dinky models you can buy and it is always an exciting find. This sought-after van has a notably all original red paint finish throughout and highly decorative transfers on both sides. Virtually mint transfers. Wonderfully vibrant, unfaded original paint finish throughout. Bright base. Well-shaped smooth original tyres.
Occasional tiny mark to the paint finish – and of course, the Van is notably without retouching (sadly, not often the case with these high profile Vans). Couple of very small areas of rough casting.
The box is an extremely fresh example! Clean and brightly-coloured throughout. This example is dated from 1957 (Dinky stamp on the inside of the box lid). LF label in place and short lid end. Price label or similar has been removed nearby (little area of resultant paper loss.
A highlight in any collection.
