Notes
What a find!
The owner informs us:
‘This is a pre-production sample bought from the Los Angeles, California Dinky Dealer in the 1970’s’.
This fine Messerschmitt model has a striking copper finish with a blue base section, white plastic propellor and aerial. Complete labels throughout. Clear intact cockpit.
Sadly very few in this finish were made.
Barely a mark – looks untouched.
Battery operated model (untested).
The bubble pack style box is in pleasing condition with a notably intact, clear and supple bubble top. Sensibly stored out of sunlight. Light shelf wear on the underside.
Note this is the ‘simplified’ version with fewer details printed on the card on which the model rests.
