Issued between 1971-72, this desirable London Transport Gift Set comprises:
1) Corgi 418 Taxi, in gloss black finish. Red interior. In very near mint condition.
2) Corgi 468 Routemaster Bus ‘OUTSPAN’. In very near mint condition, this detailed bus has complete labels/transfers throughout and includes both a driver and conductor.
3) Corgi 204 Mini, in an attractive metallic blue finish. In very near mint condition. With blue-tinted glazing.
Policeman on point duty, with his white arm bands, directing the traffic on top of a plastic circular stand.
The polystyrene inner is bright and intact.
The outer window box is complete and bright, with intact smooth original cellophane. Lightest wear. Japanese price label at an end flap.
An unusual Gift Set issued for just a short time by Corgi, and aimed at the tourist market.
