Notes
This popular Corgi Gift Set was inspired by the children’s t.v. programme Daktari (Swahili for doctor)and is complete, virtually mint original condition. Note the rare wheels on this particular example – Rally style.
Later Whizzwheel box version.
It contains:
Corgi 438 Land Rover in green with narrower black stripes.
In virtually mint condition, complete with tiger on the bonnet, Dr. Marsh Tracy (with his stethoscope and chimp). Suspension on Rally style Whizzwheels. Notably complete bonnet transfer.
Figures of Paula and of course, the cross-eyed lion Clarence, complete with spectacles! Still contained in their sealed plastic bubble packaging.
The cellophane-fronted window box is complete with vivid colours and original smooth cellophane (small puncture). Note this is the later box version with GS7 DAKTARI only at end flaps. Bright yellow card insert is clean bright and fresh.Very light wear.
Outer box is’ shorter’ than the earlier ‘Whizzwheel’ box issue.
