Notes

Issued between 1965-69, and an obviously Beatles – inspired item, this car with
‘Beat’ group is a difficult find in this distinctive deep blue & pale pink finish.
The owner has placed this model alongside the standard version for comparison:

California beats

The model is in very close to mint condition with all three original figures, bright gold windscreen & trim, red plastic wheels.
It comes complete with the original figures (traces of the original glue remain) and all the distinctive transfers are absolutely fine:

A delightful item from Dinky and not an easy find in this condition, mostly due to the flimsy nature of the ‘export-style’ box.

This box has fared better than many, with the card base and sides bright and complete with the fixing components to secure the model to the card ‘Roadway’.
The outer card & cellophane sleeve is complete, with minor grubbiness and the almost-inevitable tears to the cellophane.
A desirable Dinky item.
