Issued between 1963-70, this fine Dinky Supertoys model was issued towards the end of the production run. In original condition, complete with all “SHELL” and “B.P.” labels on both sides and rear, complete and intact. So tempted to call this one mint!
This model has a bright white and yellow cab and body, white chassis, and grey plastic hubs. So often, the white plastic tank becomes discoloured and yellowed over time – happy to say that this example is a very bright and fresh white colour. Complete with tow hook and spare wheel still affixed to the matt baseplate.
Upon minute inspection, one may find a couple of tiny dots, but surely most would be forgiven for calling this example mint.
The end flap pictorial box is a fitting partner. So crisp, bright and fresh – it would be hard to better.
A couple of the small stress rubs to the card at the crisp end flaps.
Not an easy find in this condition.
