Issued between 1958-63 and comprises Dinky Supertoys 984 and 985, this two-part has a vivid bright shining finish.
Both items have a few marks (nearly all confined to the Car Carrier Loading Ramp). Very difficult to find unmarked! Some tarnishing to the winding handle cuff.
The “DINKY AUTO SERVICE” lettering is complete on both sides of both models. The top deck of the car carrier can be raised and lowered by turning the handle at the side – this works well. Eight Dinky cars can be accommodated on the carrier and trailer. What a great display piece in your collection!
The very large box is bright and complete. Such a large card box nearly always sustains wear at corners etc. – this example has fared better than most.
Notably, it comes complete with a large inner card packing piece (few small repaired tears) as well as three thicker card wedges (original) which secure the items in place. Two smaller card rectangular-shaped pieces too.
