Notes
Sought after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
This particular example is a difficult find in lemon-cream, distinctive deep cream interior, both seated figures, black tonneau.
Note there are no aerials.
No ‘Dinky Toys’ on base, but ‘PLYMOUTH FURY’ present.
One-piece wheels/tyres. Opening bonnet with engine detail. Silver trim.
Barely a mark to the paint finish.
Colourful card box presents well with vivid colours. Usual age/handling wear (a heavy model stored in a comparatively flimsy box).
