Dinky Toys 25K Streamline Fire Engine
Streamline Fire Engine by Dinky Toys, No. 25K. Very good plus. Rare early issue. From The esteemed Spa-Francorchamps Collection. QDT starting bid £300. Please note that QDT apply 12.5% buyer's commission.
Notes
Issued 1937-39. THis Streamline Fire Engine is finished in red (what else!) including the tinplate ladder on the roof and smooth red wheels. Correct thin axles. Silver trim and delightful original little brass bell. Smooth white tyres (one has been replaced) have some cracking and wear unsurprisingly for a model of this age.
Model is sound with no crazing, although note the fine crazing to the wheels.
Sprinkling of chips and paint loss at wheel arch rims.
Complete with all six tinplate firemen!
A rare find in any condition.
