Notes

Re-numbered from 39B in 1960, this fine French Dinky model has a sand beige tractor and trailer, matching metal wheels (convex wheels to cab, concave to trailer) and a white roof rack. Four metal pins on the trailer are still in place. Complete load of six plastic pipes. Two spare wheels, window glazing. Early issue with pierced trailer detail (later issue was solid).
Few negligible marks to the paint.

The attractive pictorial striped ‘Supertoys’ box is bright, fresh, complete and intact, with light wear only. Dinky Quality Control Stamp ‘Meccano Controle’ on the inside of the box lid as well as a date stamp 11 Sep 1959.
