Notes
This fine model has a lustrous deep orange-yellow finish, black wings, black coupling area, red ridged hubs to the cab, grooved to the trailer (all correct) and “Dinky TOYS” on the base. This is a transition issue from 1954 (note the dual-numbering on the box). Note the shaped fuel tank ‘cover’ ( earlier issue has no tank ‘cover’, and the last issue has a straight tank ‘cover’).
In impressive, all original, virtually mint condition.
The transition, dual-numbered box is bright and clean colours with very minor wear wear only.
Tarnished staples Shopkeeper’s period price at one end of the lid.
