Notes

This Gerry Anderson model inspired by the t.v. series ‘Captain Scarlet & The Mysterons’ is in all original condition, carefully handled and stored.
This version has a pleasing metallic blue finish, with original figure of Captain Scarlet and both firing front rockets. Later-style transfers and paper labels (lacks one on the opening door), and simplified Captain Scarlet mechanism (i.e. the Captain Scarlet figure emerges on a fixed seat in these later issues). With black rubber tracks and aerials.
2nd issue with white plastic cover on the door release mechanism on the roof.

Minor mark or two to the paint which barely detract.
Scarce interim issue box has slightly different illustrations on the plinth and note the illustration showing the drop-down Captain Scarlet has been blanked out since it does not apply to this simpler later version.

Remains of the original tape which would have secured the rockets and a little marking caused by the model. Shelf grubbiness on the underside.
Original bubble lid (small split to one corner which fits over the plinth).
