This is the ‘most fantasmagorical’ Corgi toy, in assumed mint condition! Bought new at the time and never removed from the box. Gleaming bright, with all four original figures seated inside. Gold windscreen and gold bonnet bands, headlight surround and more. The deepest gold version we have ever seen. Gold details are more usually found on the version in the shorter box – and not as vivid as in this case.

Completely unused and still firmly attached to the white plastic moulded inner by means of the original fixings.

Blue card cloud scene we have to assume was never fitted in this example.

The longer style cellophane fronted “window” box has day-one bright colours and original cellophane window (couple of tiny pinprick punctures). A little white residue on the inside of the cellophane window. As-new look and feel. Most of the mail order label at an end flap and residue of the original tape applied at the time. Area of surface loss on both end flaps due to tape removal. A little foxing visible in places on the card reverse.

Light crease on the box reverse where the header card meets the main body of the box. Note that mail order versions would be sent with the upstand folded down.

With plain sturdy mail order sleeve.
