Notes

A beautiful classic Dinky aeroplane in unused condition with a sleek and shining silver and white finish, perfect ‘Air France’ and ‘F-BGNY’ transfers, as well as the ‘windows’ detail on both sides (so often rubbed or flaked!):

Early issue with Issued between 19621-65. Indeed, the Dinky stamp inside the lid dates this model from December 1961 – so one of the first made. English factory production with 60F and 997 cast on the underside of the wings.
At first, and indeed even second, glance, this aircraft looks mint. It is ony upon the most careful scrutiny that one will see a small mark or two, which do not detract. So often the white finish on these models can become mottled or discoloured over time -pleased to say that the white finish is original throughout and gleaming bright!
Beautiful display item – the cream of the Dinky crop!
The lift-off lid pictorial box is clean, vivid and fresh with no splits or graffiti. Barely any handling wear. Shopkeeper’s price is written on the lid. Nice to see that this example has the card wrap-around packing piece too.
