Scarce first issue Foden with a red cab and flatbed with black chassis and flash (from 1947-48). This striking Dinky Foden has a vivid original finish throughout, with well-shaped herringbone tyres.
Correct that this model has neither tanker slits nor chain post bosses. Earliest version without towhook.
This honest Dinky commercial has some roof edge chipping and several marks besides.
Correct early box impresses with intact buff card and bright paper labels. Handling wear commensurate with age and a small portion of the short lid end label is missing.
