Just bought in from a private U.S. collection, this sought-after Corgi commercial Bedford ‘S’ Tanker is in superb, fresh condition with complete transfers on one side, very nearly so on the other. Worth noting noting too, that the white background colour of the transfer has not become yellow or discoloured over time. Perfect detailed transfer at the rear too. Slightly later issue with shaped spun rather than flat spun wheels. Model was issued between 1959-64.

Just the odd incidental mark on this model which has a vivid bright red finish with not a trace of sunfading. Virtually unmarked – so close to mint!

Bright baseplate, too.

Really eye-catching with day-one colours and a lustrous sheen, this model is sure to become a favourite in your collection.
The lift-off lid pictorial box has strong colours, very clean and fresh with no splits and minimal handling wear.

Minor rubbing and a small amount of price label residue on the lid (probably will clean off). Complete with internal card packing and a ‘Moorgate’ Corgi Club Membership Form.

All in all, a real gem – not an easy find in this condition.
