Notes
One of the rarest Dinky models you will find. This is surely the rarest of the Dinky Advertising Vans – rarer even then the Weetabix Van! A sought-after model, this is the Guy Warrior version of the Heinz Advertising Van. Seldom comes to the market place at all, let alone in this close to mint condition! Perfect eye-catching delicate transfers on both sides are original. Wonderful lustre to the paint finish with not a trace of sunfading.
Baseplate showing original rivet fixings, untarnished metal and well-shaped fine original radial tyres:
Hard to find a mark on this superb Warrior Guy Van and it is only upon minute inspection, that we have found two very small touch-ins on the yellow back. Couple of the usual little expected marks at the rear opening doors and a couple besides.
The correct plain blue striped lift-off lid box is complete and intact with no tears or repairs. Untarnished staples. Period penned price at one end of the lid. Some grubbiness and light wear.
An exciting and rare find – the first we have seen in a long, long time and certainly one of the best examples you will ever see.
