Issued during 1939, this Imperial Airways Liner ‘Frobisher’ has survived very well. Sleek silver finish with all four red propellors in place and complete ‘G-A FDI’ lettering on the wings in black. Gliding hole with pin.
Notably, the delicate ‘FROBISHER’ transfer is virtually complete – complete on both sides.
Very minor wear to the paint finish. Complete and sturdy powder blue lift-off lid box has no tears or repairs. A little marking, grubbiness and fading, as one might expect. Dated 1 – 39.
