What a fine example of this impressive Dinky military set! Close to mint example which functions perfectly, with a complete and intact missile (and that includes the rubber nose). Slightly later issue with plastic rather than metal cogs to work the mechanism. Obviously this set has spent most of its fifty or so years in its box and has been well stored. Bright shiny winding handle, virtually unmarked missile (correct that this later issue has a white finned missile). At some time, a small ‘U.S. Army’ label has been added to the front of the cab – may be possible to remove if wished. The Missile Launching Pad is in super condition, with just the expected marking to the tow ring.

The striped Supertoys box is bruight and complete with no splits.Trace of old seelotape on the box lid sides and a faintly pencilled shopkeeper’s price of 28/9 is visible. Both upper and lower packing card pieces are still present, as is the Instruction Leaflet.
