Dinky Toys 512 Guy Flat Truck

An all-original scarce issue made during 1954-55. This truck has a bright and distinctive mid-blue cab and chassis,(more usual finish is violet blue), red back, mid-blue ridged hubs. Large painted hook. Second type cab so this model has triangular lugs at either side of the front number plate. Barely any marks at all e.g. one little mark at rear corner of flat bed (factory) and a few tiny marks besides – hard to fault! So rare in this condition.
Cab roof and wheel arches are unmarked, axles, bolt fixing and baseplate are shiny. Bright silver radiator and lights. Paint finish is vibrant and glowing. Complete with spare wheel.

Marked Dinky Toys on the base.

The blue and white striped picture box is complete and bright with no splits or graffiti. Minor age wear/grubbiness only. Red spot at the lid end. Dinky stamp inside the box lid dates this model from 1955.
