1st type issue, made between 1948-52. Two-tone blue paint finish with a silver flash and fine tread radial tyres. Nice to see that the tinplate tank is not dented or rusty.

Only the most minor marks to the paint finish. Upon the closest inspection, there are a couple of touch-ins to the paint finish at cab front edge and a couple at the wheel arches. Traces of darker blue paint may be seen at the underside of the tanker. Bright shiny axles and baseplate. Nice lustre to the paint finish throughout – indeed at first glance, this Dinky lorry looks virtually mint!
This tanker comes complete with a very nice early buff box with a paper label. Quite crisp and the paper label looks very bright and fresh. Sound with no splits, although a little rusty around the staples. Minor wear only.
