Notes
Issued 1950-52, this is a scarce British heavyweight Foden Tipper finished in a vibrant deep yellow and red. Beautifully constructed, this was part of a small range of diecast constructional models made between 1948-52 by this British manufacturer. Sold with some of the tools to take apart and rebuild as well as the key. Working clockwork function. This Foden Tipper model measures 26cms x 9cms. approx.
Decorative ‘Shackleton’ transfer is virtually complete.
Spare wheel stowed. Occasional mark to the original paint finish.
Especially difficult to find with its distinctive sturdy colourful card box.
This box has fared t=better than most! Due to the weight of the truck, these boxes are especially difficult to find at all, let alone in reasonable condition. Just a little of the usual wear.
Inside the box, along with the tools, your will find the leaflet, the corrugated card piece and some of the paper wrapping. A remarkable find.
