Notes
The first Corgi car ever made – and a must for your collection. Issued in various colour finishes between 1956-61. This version of the Consul in mid-blue was issued a little later as a mechanical version (under the numbering 200M), with the familiar bulge on the baseplate.
This rare earlier version is the non-mechanical version and an especially rare find in this bright mid-blue finish. Flat spun wheels gleam. Tyres are as-new. Baseplate is very shiny.
A remarkable find.
Close to mint condition with a little marking to the all original paint finish i at some exposed edges/raised details.
The early blue picture box is complete and bright. A little age/handling wear and a penned number on one side.
An exceptional find.
