Notes
Sought after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
This particular example is a difficult find in silver, deep maroon interior, both seated figures, intact screen.
No ‘Dinky Toys’ on base, but ‘PLYMOUTH FURY’ present.
Both aerials notably.One-piece plastic wheel and tyre construction. Tinplate base. Opening bonnet with engine detail. Headlight detail and painted rear lights.
Virtually mint.
Colourful card box is the version with a sea-side scene as the backdrop. A very nice example by Nicky standards, although note a tiny repair to an end flap and a little old sticker residue.
