Dinky Toys 968 B.B.C. T.V. Roving Eye Vehicle

One of the trio of t.v./broadcasting vehicles made between 1959-65.
This B.B.C. truck is in all original condition with a deep green and pale grey finish. This model comes complete with the detachable aerial (often they seem to go astray!). Camera man on the roof swivels. This version has cream BBC lettering on the camera. Complete detailed crest transfers on both sides of the van.

Bright base (minor marking)and the original tyres run well.
The occasional mark may be found if you scrutinise closely (i.e. at door handles and on camera man’s head).
The striped Supertoys box is bright, clean and strongly-coloured throughout. Minor age wear. Shiny staples. Puncture at one side of the blue lower half of the box. Precisely dated from June 1959 (Dinky stamp inside the box lid).
