This is a full size Factory Drawing for the proposed production of Corgi Toys Chevrolet Astro 1 Experimental Car. This model was issued between 1969-74 and was released in a gleaming metallic peacock blue finish, shiny bonnet inset and initially with red spot wheels (later replaced by Whizzwheels).
Two figures inside; the male figure often mistaken for James Bond!
Factory drawing approx. size 100cms x 70 cms.
Light wear as shown, with tape in one small section at bottom edge.
Signed and dated (November, 1967) by John Worth, the Corgi designer who is pictured in his drawing office at his drawing board in The Great Book of Corgi, page 188.
