Second type cab issue of this Dinky truck made between 1952-56. This gleaming bright Dinky toy Foden model has a violet blue cab and chassis and a vivid orange back, paler blue grooved hubs. Well-shaped, original black radial tyres. 20 mph label still in place.
One of the much-loved Dinky toys from this era.
Bolt fixing.
Gleaming and very close to mint, with a couple of little wheel arch marks. Little flake of paint at the rear. Minute and careful scrutiny finds a few very small retouches to the orange paint (only visible under magnification).
The striped, dual-numbered DINKY TOYS box is complete and brightly coloured and that includes the portion of the deep blue base not covered by the lid. Rusty staples. Very minor wear and a couple of small stains. ’LF" label in place at a short lid end.
