Notes
What a fine and impressive example of this prestige car from Corgi, issued between 1961-65! In gleaming black and silver finish, with jewelled front and rear lights, opening boot with spare wheel, and a perfect intact bonnet emblem.
Unusual to see this model with gold plating – most obvious on the inside of the boot which includes the spare wheel.
Suspension on shaped spun wheels.
Close observation reveals a few tiny dots around the opening boot and a couple of small chips at front over-riders.
The pictorial card box is bright, clean and complete, with minor wear only. No tears. Shopkeeper’s price of 7/6 and a little neat writing on the inside of one end flap.
Very hard to better this superb Corgi car!
