This scarce and desirable Gift Set was issued between 1968-69 only and comprises:
1) Corgi 319 Marlin Rambler Sports Fastback in metallic mid-blue, white roof and boot, suspension on detailed cast wheels. Roof rack in place with red and white canoe atop. A scarce colour issue which only ever appeared in this gift set. Very near mint condition with a notably intact grey tow bar.
2) Pennyburn Trailer in the same colour finish. Small chip to the white paint finish.
Bright card pictorial tray is clean, bright and complete, with both pull-out tabs present and tear-free. Very minor wear only.
Another red and white canoe is included with figure and paddles.
The attractively illustrated outer box is complete and very brightly-coloured. Very small stain marks on one non-picture side and a couple of flecks of surface loss nearby.
No tears or graffiti.
