Ford Zephyr Police Car BBC TV 'Z Cars' by Spot-on Models, No. 309. Very, very near mint/boxed, with promotional leaflet. Scarce issue with spun wheels. Old shop stock quality from The Coastline Collection. QDT starting bid £300. Please note that QDT apply 12.5% buyer's commission.
Notes
Issued during 1965 from the well respected Spot-On company, this T.V. series inspired Zephyr Police Car is in virtually mint condition, complete with both figures, both aerials (original and intact) and number plates front and rear. Obviously unused, this model is surely one of the best surviving examples. Gives the impression of unsold old shop stock.
The intricate card inner which serves as a fitting backdrop for the model is complete, clean and fresh, including the ‘Z Cars’ sign.
The cellophane-fronted box looks as-new with clean and vibrant barely handled card and the smooth original cellophane has merely a pinprick puncture.
